I just wanted to share my new dress form that was given to me for free by a friend. She was having a yard sale and I offered to buy it but she insisted I have it instead. Not only that, but she threw in some free patterns too. I have always wanted to learn how to sew my own clothes. I am excited to give it a shot. I haven't adjusted it yet, but will as soon as I measure myself.
This is what I'm looking for!!! If you see one on your thrifting...call me!! :) I want to make myself a little black dress!!! We could try to make some clothes together! Also...the JoAnn's down from your work (by Book Gallery West and Beef O'Brady's on the corner of 43rd) is closing on Tuesday and all the patterns are $1.99 except the Vogue ones!! Fabric was 30% off on Friday, but it may have gone down by now. I think I may try to go by there tomorrow again.
